Letter to Parents

Dear Parents,

We have quite a few things to pass on to you this week, so we decided to email you as well as post the info on the blog.

Thursday is now "Costume Day" and Understudy rehearsal. Understudies need to be in the auditorium by 3:15. If your child is a lead that doesn't have an understudy, or the understudy hasn't attended any rehearsals, then he/she needs to show up at the understudy rehearsal on Thursday unless otherwise specified.

We need to see all of the children's costumes on Thursday. Please bring back any costume pieces not being used so that we may make sure everyone has a costume. Here is the schedule:

3:00-3:30 Chorus
3:30-4:00 Leads
4:00-4:30 Understudies

If your child is an understudy and also in the chorus, please bring both costumes.

Please make sure that your child's costume is appropriate. We have had a couple of items of clothing show up on the costume rack that have been inappropriate. Also, remember that if you checked out a costume from the Lab School, that it is Lab School property, though you may alter it as necessary for fitting/additions for certain characters. If you don't come with your child on Thursday, please check with him/her to find out anything that is further needed for the costume. We will be returning costumes at the "Strike Set" event on Tuesday afternoon after the show (April 29th).
